My Little Owl

I realize Halloween is old news, but how cute is Lily in her little owl costume?  She has worn it around the house every day since, so I guess we're still in the Halloween mood around here!

Happy Mother's Day!

I love that we get to spend today celebrating mothers!  I am so thankful I get to be my little Lily's mama.

Motherhood is such a blessing.

Happy Easter!

We have had a great holiday weekend with lots of egg hunts, family time, the Easter Bunny and way too many treats.  Lily is still too little to understand the concept of Easter, but she loves hunting for eggs - and she definitely understands candy. :)

I ordered Lily the snowman stocking and it just arrived today.  It is so cute and just what I was looking for.  And the bells sound like real jingle bells, I love it!

Loving Fall

Oh how I love the fall.  I never knew I loved it until we didn't have it for three years while living in Hawaii.  Now I find myself staring at the pretty colors of the changing leaves, and loving the chill in the air because it means I can throw on a cozy sweater.   We did a hayride to a cute little pumpkin patch and picked out a daddy, mommy and a baby pumpkin.  It was so much fun, and may top my list as one of my favorite fall activities.

Happy Easter Weekend

Wishing everyone a happy Easter tomorrow.  I am looking forward to spending the day with my family and watching General Conference.  And maybe I'll do a little packing.  We are heading to Oahu for a week long vacation with family and I can't wait.

A Perfect Weekend

For Valentine's Day the husband and I decided to pack up and head to Waikoloa for a little getaway. (We live on the Big Island of Hawaii in Hilo, and Waikoloa is on the other side of the island - near Kona.) What a wonderful time we had! Our little getaways aren't nearly as relaxing as they used to be when it was just the two of us, but having our daughter Lily has sure made things more fun. She was a joy to be around and loved every second of our little beach trip.
