Somewhere Over the Rainbow + Wizard of Oz Party

I just came across this amazing Wizard of Oz themed party and had to share!  All of the little details are just incredible.  So happy my Rainbow print was able to be a part of the decor.

A Soft, Neutral Nursery

I am loving this gender neutral nursery for baby Jackson.  The combination of pale gray, white, and "vintage yellow" is perfection.

It is always a treat to see my art displayed in a beautiful nursery.

Brooke's Nursery on Apartment Therapy

Baby Brooke and her parents live in a small one bedroom apartment in New York City, so they had to get really creative when planning her nursery.  Brooke's mom explains how they did it in this Apartment Therapy article.  Amazing!

My ABC/123 prints are framed above the changing table, custom matched to her DwellStudio crib sheets.

Ava’s Sweet Gray and Pink Nursery

And here is the other beautiful nursery I get to share with you today.  Megan from Wades of 108 designed this stunning nursery for her daughter Ava.  The combination of pink, gray and white is so elegant and feminine.  I am in love with every detail!

Megan requested custom colors for my Somewhere Over the Rainbow print, and this is what we came up with.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow with
Such a sweet space I'm sure she and her daughter will enjoy for years.  You can view all the sources for the room here.

I hope these nurseries have left you feeling as inspired as I am feeling!  If you have a nursery you would like to share on my blog, please email me at sugarfreshdesigns@gmail.com.

Scarlet's Pink + Gray Woodland Nursery

I am so excited to share two beautiful nurseries with you today!  Both of these talented mammas used pink and gray as their color scheme.  This first nursery was created by Emily for her baby girl Scarlet.  She combined pink and gray with a woodland theme.  Such an awesome idea!

I did a custom pink for the Peaceful Tree Series framed above the changing table.  I just love how she used DwellStudio's Woodland Tumble Series.

Absolutely darling!  Baby Scarlet is a lucky girl.

You can check out pink and gray nursery #2 in my next post...

Nursery Inspiration

Loving this coral and aqua nursery.  One of my favorite color combinations.

Loved this article on Apartment Therapy on using two wall colors, especially in children's rooms.

can you spot Mister Numbers?

Parker's Nursery

Bridget who blogs here posted some lovely photos of her son Parker's nursery.  I just love the color scheme she used and am thrilled that my Child of God print was included.  You can check out details and more photos of the nursery here.

Real Nurseries

I'm so excited to share these two beautiful nurseries with you.  I love seeing my art hanging in a child's room, it is so rewarding!

This first nursery belongs to my dear friend Haley of over 20 years (oh my, I'm old!) and her beautiful baby Devery.  Haley is a seriously talented interior designer, as you can see from the photo below.  (I am in love with this nursery, if only I had a fraction of her talent!)  She sent me a photo of the nursery and I created the matching prints.  They are framed in white and sitting on the mantle.

This next photo is from Molly at My Happy House.  I just love the color scheme of this nursery.  In fact, this order was very memorable because I loved the colors she requested, and thought the finished product turned out so great.  So happy to be able to see the nursery the prints were made for!

If you have a room with art from Sugar Fresh that you would like to share, please email me at sugarfreshdesigns@gmail.com.  It will make my day!

Serena & Lily - Make Your Bed

Just when I thought I couldn't love Serena & Lily any more, I discover the Make Your Bed page on their website.  You can mix and match duvets, euros, pillows, sheets, etc. and it puts it all together for you.  Which is perfect for someone like me who has a hard time visualizing and making decisions.  Try it out here.

Holly Mathis Design Board

Love this design board Holly from Holly Mathis Interiors put together.  The room is for two little girls, and their mom requested a room that can grow with them and last.  I love the idea of putting a bold wallpaper behind the bed, and using simple bedding along with bold drapes and accessories.  Holly is so great at putting together children's rooms.  I love that she chose to incorporate my Peacock print, I think it coordinates so well.

You can view all the sources for her design here.

Utah Valley Parade of Homes

Well after a year of living in limbo while Jason finished school, we finally are able to buy a place of our own. We have decided to build and are now going through the process of picking everything out, which has been fun but stressful at the same time.  So we decided to head down to the Utah Valley Parade of Homes to get some inspiration. All of the homes were of course beautiful, but the clear favorite for me was this coastal-inspired craftsman owned by Cristi of Hiya Papaya.  The home was built by Hatfield Homes and most of the furnishings came from Four Chairs Furniture. We were totally blown away, oohing and ahhing over every room.

Gorgeous, right!? I was so happy and surprised to turn the corner out the master bedroom and see my Love print.  I thought it went with the style and color scheme of the home so well.  I had to snap a photo.

And also of my Home print in the entry.

If you want more info about the house there is a great write up over at House of Turquoise, but if you're in the area you really should go see it in person!

TypArchive

Lately I have been loving TypArchive, a site filled with images of hand painted and three dimensional lettering from around the world.  Or as better described on the site, "a source of inspiration for new typefaces, or just eye candy for the type obsessed."  If you are a typography lover like me you should check it out, looking through the collection always leaves me full of inspiration and ideas.

Organizing Ideas

Call me a nerd, but sometimes I look at the Container Store for fun.  Just look at these great ideas I found!

A craft station!  If only I were this organized.

Is it the closet or the clothes I love?  Either way it looks great!

Whoa, this is cute!

Maybe I would like doing laundry more if I had a laundry room that looked like this.

Toy storage!  Seems like I struggle with this daily.

And I'm sure I could find a use for this leaning bookshelf.
