Hello J. Crew Swim

In May we will be heading back to Hawaii for a couple weeks and it couldn't come any sooner.  But I am realizing it's only a month away and I should probably find a swim suit slash lay off the ice cream.  I am loving J. Crew's swimwear this season, so stylish yet modest.

Twinkle Twinkle

This is my favorite lullaby to sing to Lily.  Just listed in the shop today, along wth a newly expanded color chart.

Seattle

We are in Seattle!  I snapped these photos on Saturday during our visit to Pike Place.  We are staying right on Pike Street and it has been fun to be so close to the sites.  We have visited the Space Needle and the Seattle Aquarium and are hoping to take a ferry ride tomorrow.  What a beautiful city this is!

Together Forever

I have been working on this design in my head for months, so I am very happy it's finally finished!  'Together forever' has special meaning to me, because in my church we believe that families can be together forever.  I think it would make a great wedding gift or would look nice framed with a collage of family photos.

I just added it to my shop today, and it can be customized in any color.

Still Winter

After a week of sunshine and spring temperatures we woke up to six inches of fresh snow.  I guess I shouldn't be surprised, that's Utah weather for you.  Sunny one day, blizzard the next.  In fact I think it snowed in May last year, which was a nice welcome for us as we moved from Hawaii.

The snow is very pretty though, I must say.  There were a bunch of birds outside Lily's window, so as she was pointing and yelling, "tweet tweet! tweet tweet!"  I grabbed my camera and snapped a photo of this little guy.  I think he's cute, plus he reminds me that spring could really be just around the corner.

I will hopefully be adding two new designs to the shop this week.  We'll see if I can find the time to finish them up!

Organizing Ideas

Call me a nerd, but sometimes I look at the Container Store for fun.  Just look at these great ideas I found!

Getting Bigger

My little Lily is growing up too fast. 

I have been thinking it would be fun to track her growth on a growth chart.  Here are some I found that I love, but it's such a tough decision!  Which would you choose?
